MRC’s unique modular system has very low maintenance costs. Long-life external finishes are used, and both
these and the roof performance are guaranteed, depending on the product used.

All external windows are zero-maintenance PVC framed, and all guttering is in maintenance-free PVC. Plastisol
and Stoneflex finishes to the external walls require no maintenance, while textured Weathercote finish requires a
colourwash every five years – a single day’s work for a standard 3 bay classroom block.

No internal decoration is required: we use vinyl faced plasterboard to all walls and standard plasterboard on the
ceilings..
